When people first look at Possum, they’ll see an unusual-looking cat with gray fur, bald patches and a rat-like tail. Some people even think Possum is a burn victim.
Possum was one of several kittens born from a feral mother cat. All of the kittens were “normal” looking, just like the mother — shorthair domestic cats with white and calico fur. Possum, on the other hand, was gray and almost entirely bald when she was born. She was also the runt.
Possum’s owner decided to take her in and fell in love with her, despite already owning two other cats. Thanks to a kind-hearted woman, Possum now has a good home and a loving family.
