If dead Presidents can get a day to celebrate their birth, why shouldn’t feral cats have their own day as well? That’s why October 16th has been designated feral cat day. Although you won’t get the day off from work on that day, you can celebrate the existence of cats in any way you choose such as shredding your drapes, knocking expensive vases over, or ripping the sides of a sofa apart with your fingernails.

National Feral Cat Day is meant to highlight awareness of all cats. Adopt a cat if you can or take care of a feral cat. Cats deserve to live a dignified life so do what you can to make that happen with at least one cat in the world. That cat will be sure to appreciate what you can do for them.
