The Pallas cat is the fluffiest cat in the world and one of the rarest cats as well. Native to southern Siberia, as well as Central Asia and China, Pallas cats and rarely seen. Because people in Mongolia hunt the cat for its fur, authorities decided to set up a special park just for the Pallas cat.

Denis Malikov, deputy director of Sailyugemsky Park told the Siberian Times: “The Pallas’ cat is unfairly forgotten in the world although the animal is on the edge of extinction. There are only a handful of researchers studying it in Russia.”

Perhaps one day when the Pallas cat becomes more prominent, everyone can own a Pallas cat if they wish.
