Two years ago, Iris Estrada Samaniego, from Murrieta, California, thought that her cat, Diego, had been eaten by a coyote since coyotes are so common in that part of the country.
One day after work, something told her to check the animal shelter and when she did, she saw a cat that looked exactly like Diego. As it turned out, it was Diego, and Iris broke down in tears at the sight. Since losing a cat is always a possibility, get your cat a microchip so insure its safe return.
