Otitis was a normal cat until he developed cysts in his ears. Unfortunately, his adopted family couldn’t afford the surgery to have the cysts removed so they gave him to the Feline Rescue Association of Baltimore.
This organization raised the money to get Otitis the operation he needed. Surprisingly after losing his ears, his behavior changed remarkably for the better. No longer in pain, Otitis suddenly became a happy, playful cat.
Even better, Otitis found a new owner who specifically wanted to adopt a special needs cat. Otitus’s story is proof that when bad things happen, it can open the doors to a much better future later. So if you’re feeling down today, just remember that tomorrow could be much brighter if you just hang in there a little longer like Otitus did.
