Some cats are finicky and won’t eat anything but the finest filet mignon and lobster while others will become living vacuum cleaners and inhale anything in sight whether it’s organic material or not. Because cats are carnivores, they need meat but they also need other types of nutrition as well.

Generally give your cat two meals a day and include both dry and wet food. Wet foods provide liquid which can be especially useful for kittens. As any cat owner can tell you, just plan on spending your entire budget on cat food and whatever’s left over is what you and your family can subsist on. That will keep your cat happy and as any cat owner can tell you, as long as your cat is happy, then you should be happy as well since the cat won’t make your life miserable in retaliation.
