Certain breeds of cats and dogs often exhibit health problems. Now the latest cat breed to get attention to hereditary physical ailments is the flat-faced cat, a breed made popular by Grumpy Cat.

Vets have warned that flat-faced cats often have breathing difficulties, along with eye and skin infections, because of constricted nasal passages. In some cases the cats even have problems picking up food because of their flattened ‘grumpy’ faces.

Remember, all cats of all breeds and colors can be wonderful companions so don’t discriminate based on color or looks. Just find a cat that needs a good home and it will likely make a great companion and unruly boss of the household for a long time to come.
