In China, it’s illegal to bring a pet on a train, so what’s a cat lover to do? In the case of one woman, she hid here cat under her jacket and told security officials that she was pregnant.

That plan might have worked but security officials insisted on patting her down for security reasons. When she refused, security officials offered to let her walk through a metal detector. That’s when the “pregnant” woman’s “child” started meowing, giving away the woman’s plan.

Although security officials let the woman on the train, she had to leave her cat behind for her family to pick up later. So the lesson is don’t try to smuggle a cat on a train in China or any other country in the world where they don’t allow pets on public transit.
