There’s a saying that “curiosity killed the cat” because many cats wind up endangering themselves through their own curiosity. That’s what happened when a homeowner in Rochester, Washington discovered a cat had gotten its head caught between the bricks under her home.
This homeowner called firefighters who rushed to the scene and managed to free the cat, which only suffered mild abrasions along its neck. Now the big question is who the cat belongs to. If the owner doesn’t come forward, the cat will be put up for adoption. Hopefully if this cat finds a new home, it will remember that narrow spaces aren’t the best places to stick its head through.
