Cats have a reputation for being aloof and distant, but like any generalization, that’s not always true. Some cats enjoy human company just as long as they can interfere with the human’s activity and prevent them from doing anything productive or useful.
Such clingy cats like to be around their humans so much that they’ll do almost anything to hang around them, including draping themselves across arms or even heads. If you thought cats can’t show affection with humans, you haven’t been around enough cats.
