When many people choose to adopt a cat, they may envision a purebred or a cat with imaginary, happy features. That’s why 19-year-old photographer Gabriel Khiterer has taken pictures of stray cats to show that even though their faces may be a bit scruffier, they can still be just as lovable as any other cat.
Gabriel said, ‘Clearly, each stray cat has its own life story, and it is visibly reflected in their appearance and demeanour. They all have this almost wise look, as if they have seen life in its entirety, which they have, I guess.’
