While many people have adopted cats and dogs, far too many animals are stuck in a shelter, waiting for someone to adopt them. During this wait time, shelters must feed these animals, which can get expensive.
That’s why PetSmart has announced a new program called “Buy a bag, give a meal” where if you buy a bag of cat or dog food, PetSmart will donate a meal to an animal in a shelter.
Since many people don’t have room to adopt another animal, PetSmart’s program can bar a way to help your own adopted pets and feed a shelter animal at the same time. This offer lasts until December 31 so be sure to buy your pet food at PetSmart if you can.
