JIji is 94 years old and lives in Tokyo, Japan, with his wife and granddaughter. Unfortunately a few years back, Jiji was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, after which he seemed to lose hope that he’d ever be himself again.
Then he met Kinako the cat. Soon JIji and Kinako were inseparable with Kinako spending all of his time keeping JIji company as he sleeps, reads, and eats. Who knew a cat could be considered a health care provider?
