When many people adopt a cat, they often look for a kitten. Unfortunately, that usually means less of a chance for black cats or physically disabled cats to find a home. Fortunately there will always be some people who will love a cat no matter what it looks like or what condition it may be in.

When 8-year-old Britta Bergeson saw a photo of a 1-year old cat named Justice, she knew she wanted to adopt that kitty. What made her desire to adopt Justice even more heart-warming was that Justice was completely blind.

Now Britta has renamed Justice with a new name of Lucky, because she believes she’s lucky to have such a loving cat to take care of. Lucky is also happy having found a new home that will love her for who she is.
