Most animals don’t like going to the veterinarian because they associate veterinarians with shots, surgery, and just general pain, even though veterinarians have the animal’s best interests at heart. In Turkey, someone brought two cats in for a check up, but when one cat realized where they were, it desperately tried to yank the other cat back into the relative safety of its carrying case.
Of course, the carrying case could only protect both cats for a limited amount of time. Eventually, the owner hauled both cats out for checkups and they had to face the horror of the veterinarian anyway, but at least for a moment, one can tried to save another from the fearful experience of being seen by a veterinarian.
