In Dublin, Ireland, a cat fell in the river Liffey and tried to swim across. Fortunately, one brave man threw a buoy into the river so the cat could cling to it. Then he pulled the cat to safety out of the water.

Such a cat rescue shows that while people may harbor differences of opinion, they can all agree that saving the life of a cat remains of utmost importance no matter who you are or where you live. If people can come together to save a cat, certainly they can come together to save each other as well.
