Many people think they can adopt a cat and life will suddenly be wonderful. While that may be true for the cat, it’s not necessarily true for you. That’s because taking care of a cat suddenly forces you t o be more responsible.
First, think of all the extra cleaning you’ll have to do from cleaning litter boxes to cleaning hairballs coughed up on the floor in the middle of the night. Then you have to worry about buying extra toys too keep your cat happy. If you thought you didn’t have enough money for yourself, you’ll suddenly find you always have money for your cat.
