At the Ashdown Community Library, Madeline, the cat would wander in the library and stay with librarian Maureen Nations. Unfortunately, some library patrons were allergic to cat hair, so a judge ordered the cat evicted from the library.
Although Madeline the cat is no longer welcome in the library, she can still stay with the librarian in her own home. Perhaps the librarian will bring books home for Madeline to read so that way the cat won’t have to miss the library too much except for the seeing people who are allergic to cat hair.
