June 4th was National Hug Your Cat Day so if you haven’t hugged your cat on that day, be sure to make up for it today and the rest of your life, buying treats, toys, and caviar for your furry, feline friend.
Hugging a cat can actually be healthy for you because it can reduce stress and lower your blood pressure. Of course, a cat ripping your arteries open if you try to hug it can also lower your blood pressure, but generally just the simple act of hugging a cat can bring beneficial health benefits.
So go ahead, hug your cat. You and your cat will be better off for doing so.
