The African Serval cat is an exotic animal native to South East Africa. While this animal closely resembles a house cat, it’s definitely not a pet. Unfortunately, some people still sell these cats to people for thousands of dollars.
Thats’ apparently what happened in Ontario, Canada where police are warning the public that an African Serval cat may be on the loose. Although all cats may look cute and harmless, any cat owner can tell you that the scares on their bodies are proof that even house cats aren’t always tame, so don’t even think a wild animal would be friendly to strangers.
If you happen to live in Ontario, Canada, be on the look out for an African Serval cat. Just don’t try to pick it up any more than you would try to pick up a strange cat on the street.
