Many people think cats can only be indoor or outdoor cats. Indoor cats live inside a house all day long while outdoor cats wander around the neighborhood. The problem with indoor cats is that they can get bored while the problem with outdoor cats is that they can get hurt or killed by cars, dogs, or malicious human beings.
Now there’s a third alternative. Outdoor cats that go on adventures under the supervision of their owners. Not only does this give the cat a chance to explore the outdoors, but the human supervision gives the cat protection against animals and other people.
If your cat wants to go outside, consider taking your cat with you on outdoor adventures. You may be surprised at how well your cat adapts to the outside world under your supervision.
