Every cat has a beautiful coat. Some have stripes, some have spots, some are solid colors, but all of them will shed on your sofa and make a mess of your house. While you’re watching cat hairballs roll down the floor like tumbleweeds, you may wonder why you ever wanted a cat? Then you might also wonder how do cat coats get defined?

Surprisingly, all cats are tabbies, even if they appear a solid color. The single hair shaft of a cat actually has different colors. One hair shaft will have at least two colors on it and striped so individual hair shafts make up the different color variations and patterns.

Of course every cat is lovable no matter what it looks like. Just look into your cat’s eyes to see the truth in that statement.
