Any time you have new technology, you also have new ways to create art. Combining plants with cats, Chicago-based artist Stephen Eichhorn has been making cat collages using plants as inspiration.
“There’s usually something about the expression or pose of the cat that dictates the direction of the collage,” says Eichhorn. “The collage-making itself is very spontaneous.”
If you like the idea of taking care of a cat as easily as taking care of a house plant, then Stephen Eichorn’s art may bring a smile to your face. Then again, if a cat looked like a plant, you can be certain it would drag dirt all over the house and make an even bigger mess than ever before.
