Cats of all kinds can be adorable (except those times when they’re trying to claw your face off when you’re trying to give them a bath). That’s why the latest hoax photograph, purportedly from National Geographic, looks so interesting that shows a cat snuggling with a lion.
The truth is that the picture is a National Geographic image, but the house cat was not part of the original photograph. The cat had been doctored in as part of a Whiskas ad campaign, minus the National Geographic logo. The Whiskers ad is meant to show cats in humorous poses around Africa.
