When a 35-pound cat showed up at the Humane Rescue Alliance, they immediately put him on an exercise and diet program while looking for a good home for him. Fortunately within 24 hours, Kiah Berkeley and her family adapted the cat and named him Vito.

While Vito may still be on the obese side, he has learned to climb the stairs and jump on the bed so at least he’s getting some exercise. Hopefully he’ll trim his weight down and stay healthy so he can live a happy and long life with his owners who love him.
