On April 4, Pecos the cat disappeared. heartbroken, Pecops’ owner, Katie and her husband, put up signs and banners around Christoval. They even rented billboards for months in San Angelo and Menard in an effort to find their beloved cat.
Then Travis, a cowboy who works on a ranch about four miles from Christoval, saw the signs and gave her a call. Travis had been feeding an orange cat for about a week and a half and believed the cat could be Pecos. Fortunately, he was right.
Now Pecos is back home again after months of billboards and signs around town. Some cat owners will go to great lengths to find their beloved pet again, so you can be certain Pecos will be showered with love and affection now that he’s back home once more.
