Beth O’Neill recently took her cat, Sasha, in for surgery to remove a growth in her nose that had restricted her breathing. That’s when veterinarians discovered that the cat may be 31 years old.
Fortunately Sasha survived the operation and now Beth is looking to submit Sasha to the Guinness Book of Records to claim Sasha as the world’s oldest cat. A 31-year old cat is equivalent to a 141 year old human, so you can imagine what Sasha has seen in a lifetime.
