When many people see a cat in distress, their natural instinct is to help that cat as quickly as possible. When one man spotted a cat in the bottom of a shaft, he thought he’d put a ladder down, climb into the hole, and rescue the cat.
However if you watch the above video, you can see that the cat had other ideas. Instead of letting itself be rescued, the cat found its own way out of the hole, leaving its would-be rescuer at the bottom with nothing to show for it.
This proves that sometimes helping a cat will get you nothing, but if you own a cat, you probably know that already.
