As many as three out of ten people in America are allergic to cats. That must be the cats’ way of weeding out those people unlikely to serve them as perpetual slaves for life. Fortunately there are ways to minimize the effect of cat allergies.

One simple way is to wash your hands after touching a cat. Another solution is to get a particular cat breed that’s less likely to cause allergic reactions in the first place. Still another option is to sleep outside and let your cat roam freely in your home.
