In Queens, crews were all set to demolish a building when they discovered up to 40 cats were living in the abandoned structure. Apparently a tenant had hoarded cats and left them behind.
Now animal rescue organizations have to trap and capture the cats and find them good homes as well. If you happen to live in the Queens are and have room to adopt a cat, consider rescuing one or more today.
Hopefully animal rescue volunteers can capture all the cats in the building so none will be hurt by demolition crews.
