The Internet has proven that it exists solely to connect cat lovers together across the world. Now the latest Internet sensation is to take pictures of cute cats from Russia and translate the Russian captions into stilted and awkward English.
Some of these clumsy translations are more descriptive than you might imagine. A picture of a striped cat laying on its side was translated from Russian in “striped sausage.” The picture above was translated from Russian as “authoritative hug.”
