29-year old Rachel Millman noticed that her Twitter followers seemed to love photos of her 18-pound tabby cat named Jerry, posing and acting in funny ways. So Rachel decided to use Jerry’s Internet name to help raise money for Hurricane Harvey victims.

Rachel announced that if anyone sent her proof that they donated to help Hurricane Harvey victims, she would send them a picture of Jerry acting in a humorous way. To date, Jerry has helped raise over $20,000 for Hurricane Harvey victims.

Who knew a cat could have so much power to change the world for the better? Then again, everyone already knows that cats have the power to change the world for their benefit.
