Asia started the fad and now it’s gone all over the world where people can hang around cats in a cat cafe while they enjoy a snack and a beverage. However, Eshyah Selig has a new idea for cat people. In New Orleans she’ll unveil the Crescent City Cat Club.

For $7, you can watch kittens being cared for through glass, or interact with grown up cats in another room. Unlike cat cafes, the Crescent City Cat Club won’t serve any food at all. Instead, patrons are simply paying for the privilege of spending time with cats.
