Obesity is a problem with humans and also with humans who feed their cats too much. The problem with obese cats is that the cats keep eating whatever their owners put in front of them, so to reduce obesity in cats, people just have to feed their cats less.

Unfortunately, this solution isn’t as simple as you might think. Veterinarians must delicately and politely inform owners that their cats are obese, and even then, many owners simply deny this fact right in front of their eyes.

Veterinarians want the best health care for your cat so if a vet says your cat is obese, it probably is. Get a second opinion if you must, but keep your cat’s health in mind. After all, your cat may have nine lives but you want it to be healthy enough tis tay with you for at least one of those lives.
