David Sluder of Southaven was pulling out of a fast food restaurant when he spotted a large black cat stalking through the fields. He quickly captured a video of the animal and posted it on social media.
Many people thought that the animal could be a panther, but biologists studied the video and said that the animal is actually a large house cat. How a house cat got so large to resemble a panther may be curious, but if there are no patterns in Mississippi, then locals just have to worry about large house cats that look like panthers.
