Support Dogs Inc. in St. Louis helps train dogs to assist people. That means the dogs need to be comfortable around other animals. So when the organization took in a black-and-white cat over the summer, they whimsically named named him D-O-G (dee-OH’-jee).
Surprisingly, this cat now works with dogs to get them comfortable around multiple types of animals. Everyone knows that cats can control humans, but it appears they can control dogs as well.
