Even if you’ve lived with a cat for years, you may still wonder if your cat loves you or not. Since cats can’t talk, you have to interpret their behavior to determine their true feelings. One huge key is if a cat invades your personal space by walking across your keyboard or sleeping on you while you’re laying down. This is a sign of trust (and a cat’s way of letting you know who’s really the boss).

Another good sign that your cat loves you is if it purrs or rolls over on its back around you. Purring is a sign of contentment and exposing its belly to you is a sign that the cat trusts you enough to risk exposing its belly to you.

Of course, cats love anyone who treats them well so treat your cats like the royalty they already think they are. When cats love you, you’ll know in more ways than one.
