It’s hard to find enough homes for cats so that’s why the Humane Society of St. Joseph County offered a day of free adoptions. The promotion worked because 150 cats got adopted to new homes.
The shelter had over 400 cats and needed to make space, so the promotion helped everyone. If you missed this free promotion, you can still adopt a cat by paying a $50 fee for kittens or a $25 fee for cats older than one year.
Every cat deserves a good home so do your part and give your home over to one or more cats who can bring happiness and shredded furniture to your home for years to come.
