Any cat owner knows that you should never mess with a cat. That’s because cats have an army of well-wishers and defenders. That’s what the Shangri-La at the Fort hotel in Manila learned the hard way when they decided to remove cats from their premises after letting them roam about for years.
The hotel said they relocated the cats but outraged citizens claim that the hotel is lying. Now the hotel has found itself being sued by unhappy people, demanding that the hotel allow the cats back into the building. Given the fanaticism of cat lovers, it’s hard too see how the hotel can possibly win even if they do have more money to pay for lawyers.
