When Chris Arsenault, 58 from Medford, New York, worked as a train conductor, he spotted some kittens by the side of the track and realized if he didn’t save them, they might die. Since then, he’s turned his home into a cat sanctuary and now has 300 cats that he cares for every day.

His home is now calledĀ the Happy Cat Sanctuary and includes hammocks, handcrafted perches, and roasted chicken dinners for all the felines. Every room in his house is dedicated to catsĀ apart from the small eight-by-twelve foot bedroom where he eats and sleeps.
