In 2004, Hurricane Jeane swept through Florida and that’s when Perry Martin lost his beloved orange tabby, Thomas Jr., nicknamed T2. Marin initially filed a report with the Humane Society when Thomas Jr. went missing, hoping that since he had a microchip embedded in him, someone would find and rescue him.

Yet 14 years went by before someone brought Thomas Jr. to the Humane Society and that’s when they scanned his microchip to reunite Thomas Jr. with Perry Martin again. The reunion may have taken over a decade, but it’s still a happy one for both of them to be together again once more.
