The Troy, Michigan police department wanted more Twitter followers so they said if they met their goal, they would adopt a cat. Not surprisingly, people passed this message around and helped the Troy police department get enough Twitter followers so they could adopt a cat.
Now the Toledo, Ohio police department wants 20,000 Twitter followers and if they reach their goal, they’ll also adapt a cat for the police department. The cat will be adopted from the Toledo Humane Society so that means one lucky cat will be to be the official Toledo police department cat for the rest of its life.
