In Mountain Home, Arkansas, the sheriff has a cat. Sheriff John Montgomery and his wife first met the cat when it started hanging around their house. That’s when they noticed the cat had been declawed.
Not wanting to leave the cat outside and being unwilling to keep the cat in their own home, they decided to bring the cat, nicknamed Cornbread, to the sheriff’s office. Now Cornbread hangs around the office, helping brighten everyone’s day by her presence. If a cat can help the sheriff, perhaps a cat can help your own world as well.
