Every cat gets hairballs because cats will groom themselves and swallow tufts of fur a little at a time. Most of that hair passes through the cat but occasionally hair bunches up so the cat must throw it up to get rid of it, usually on the most expensive carpet in your house.

To minimize hairballs, groom your cat constantly. Also consider buying hardball remedy cat food. As an alternative, use olive oil or pumpkin puree added to your cat’s food since that will help keep hairballs from getting stuck in your cat.
