Training a cat isn’t easy, but it’s not impossible either. After all, if cats can train humans, it seems logical that humans can also train cats. The key to any type of training is to focus more on rewards than punishments.
Use treats to bribe your cat with proper behavior. If your cat has trouble using a litter box, put the waste in the litter box so the cat knows where it belongs. (either that or the cat will continue soiling outside the litter box just for the amusement of watching you put its waste back in the litter box.)
Cats can be trained. In most cases, cats simply ignore any attempts to train them because they prefer training humans to do their bidding instead.
