When dogs learn new tricks, nobody cares since they expect dogs to learn and obey. But when cats learn new tricks, everyone gets excited because cats usually ignore people altogether.
That’s why videos of Sherlock, a 2-year-old Siberian forest cat, have gone viral. Sherlock has learned twelve tricks from high diving to spinning. Cats are obviously intelligent enough to learn tricks, but they’re usually intelligent enough to know that they won’t lose anything by not doing any tricks at all.
