If you happen to be in New Jersey on July 21 and 22, drop by the Morris Museum in Morristown, New Jersey. That’s when you can catch the New York Dog and Cat Film Festival.
Part of this film festival will include “”Mittens From Kittens,” by Kim Best, follows a woman who did just that, mitigating the nuisance of her shedding kitties by creating useful items from their discarded fur.
A portion of the proceeds from the New Jersey dates benefits Eleventh Hour Rescue, a Morris County-based organization that rescues dogs and cats from euthanization in shelters, and the Winn Feline Foundation, a Wyckoff-based organization that supports research and education to advance the health of cats.
