The “Garfield” comic strip depicts the adventures of an overweight and lazy cat. Now Michael Wilson is the owner of a real-life “Garfield,” except this cat’s name is Bronson and Bronson happens to weigh nearly 30 pounds.
Michael has put Bronson on a 375 calorie diet and is documenting Bronson’s weight loss online. If Bronson can lose weight, perhaps he can inspire others to lose weight as well. While obese cartoons cats might be funny, real-life obese cats at risking their health so they need to trim down so they can live longer and continue dominating their human servants.
