Meatloaf, an 11-yar old cat that weighed 30 pounds, had been given to an animal shelter after being raised mostly on human food his entire life. When Steve Gusman and his fiancée Mary Armstrong adopted him, they put him on a special diet.
Unfortunately nineteen days later, Meatloaf started acting funny so the couple took him to the vet where he passed away. Although Meatloaf was only with them for a short time, his large bulk means he will be remembered for a long time afterwards. Meatloaf may be have been obese, but at least he appears to have led a happy life.
