The wildfires in California have destroyed homes and taken lives of both people and animals. Miraculously while reporting on the fire, a journalist found a cat huddled under a car. The reporter grabbed the cat and took it to an animal shelter, posting a picture of the cat on social media for anyone to recognize.
Fortunately, the cat’s owners recognized her as London, their cat. The owners had escaped the flames but had left London behind. Now that both the owners and the cat have survived, they’ll be reunited after London recuperates from her ordeal. Despite all the destruction, at least sometimes natural disasters can have a happy story once in a while.
